Growing up in Detroit and having a musicaly intellegent Dad gave me a good foundation; when we moved to Caiifornia I knew what I had to do. I had to be in a band! My Dad got me an old $25 electric . Pure devotion. Within 6 months I was playing school dances; within 2 years it was the Fillmore. I was 16. Later, I was privledged to be in a couple of great Bay Area bands, Beggars Opera and Stoneground. So many memorable concerts and friendships. From there I entered the church and gave my musical devotion to worship music That was many years ago, and I'm honored to have taken part in thousands of services with wonderful musicians and friends..The last three years I've been so happy to reunite with my old friends, Bob and Mike in the Robert Foley Band. We're like musical brothers and love playing together, as well as just being friends!
